Application Process
Step 1: Review the goals of Facility Engagement below.
Step 2: Submit your application using our online form.
Please reference the Facility Engagement Funding Guidelines.
*Please note you must obtain written Health Authority Operations Approval for your project prior to application submission. (Written approval by email is fine. If you do not know who your Health Authority counterpart to reach out to would be please email us at projects@msacw.ca and we will do our best to help you find the most appropriate contact).
*Prior to the submission of your application we encourage you to reach out to us to meet with a Projects Committee Team member to review your application and ensure your project is aligned with the Facility Engagement Funding Goals and Guidelines. If you are interested in this support, please contact projects@msacw.ca.
Step 3: Once your submission is received, your project will be prepared and sent for several stages of review. A project manager will contact you if additional information or amendments are required.
Step 4: Once a decision has been made, a project manager will contact you to go over the results of your application, how to access your funds, reporting requirements, and additional support and resources available to you.
Doctors of BC Facility Engagement aims to foster meaningful consultation and collaboration among MSAs and health authorities to achieve the following outcomes.
- Improve engagement within and amongst MSAs with opportunities to connect, identify, and set collective priorities, work on projects together, and communicate with each other and the health authority.
- Improve MSA and health authority engagement through increased and effective interactions between MSA leaders, medical staff, and health authority leaders to co-identify shared priorities and collaborate on developing and implementing solutions.
- Enhance the MSA’s collective voice in health system planning and decision-making through greater involvement in health service planning and decision-making.
